
Kirsten recently moved to Illinois from Durham, North Carolina. She graduated from The College of St. Catherine in Minneapolis, MN in 1999 with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
During her time as a physical therapist, she has had extensive experience in orthopedic outpatient clinics with post-surgical (spine, hip, knee, ankle, and shoulder) and non-operative patients, as well as ACL patients and patients with geriatrics and balance disorders.
She received the accrediation of Board Certified Orthopedic specialist (OCS) in 2005 and currently specializes in manual therapy (the Maitland Approach).
Kirsten is driven to polish her skills and stay current with new research. She has been heavily involved in literature review groups in order to stay abreast of new research and to share ideas with other physical therapists. She loves to run and has completed three marathons. Additionally, she does Pilates. She understands the drive of athletes and the importance of keeping a healthy balance in life.
