Leah is a native of Carlinville, Illinois. She graduated from St. Louis University with her Bachelor of Science and Physical Therapy in 1995, and completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from St. Louis University in 2006.

Leah played basketball, volleyball, and ran track in high school. She has completed 15 marathons and multiple triathlons. She is involved with Springfield Road Runners and Springfield Triathlon Club. Leah also coaches her children in multiple sports. It is because of her passion for exercise and wellness that she enjoys working with challenging patients who are athletes on the field or athletes of life.
Brigitte graduated in 1990 from the school of Physiotherapy at Otago University in New Zealand. She moved to Springfield 4 years later and completed her Masters of Health Science (2001) and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2007) at Washington University Medical School in St. Louis, Missouri.

Brigitte enjoys challenging patients and has recently become interested and studying women's health issues. Brigitte is an advocate for healthy living and maintaining good musculoskeletal health. She runs, competes in triathlons, and is involved with Springfield Road Runners as well as the Springfield Triathlon Club. Brigitte recently completed an Ironman in 2011. She also enjoys skiing and competed in rugby and rowing when in New Zealand. Brigitte understands athletes and the process of struggling with injuries due to her athletic and competitive background. Brigitte is married and loves spending time with her 18 year old son.
Kirsten Gaines Transue
Kirsten graduated form The College of St. Catherine in Minneapolis, MN in 1999 with a Master's in Physical Therapy.

Kirsten loves treating a wide variety of patients from high school athletes to the elderly wanting to maintain independence. Her favorite aspect of her job is educating patients and helping them understand their condition. Kirsten runs and swims regularly and enjoys competing in road races, triathlons and open water swims. She understands the drive of athletes and the importance of finding a healthy balance in life betwewn work, exercise and family.
Bradley M. Blevins
Brad graduated from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville with a Bachelor's in Kinesiology: Exercise and wellness (2006), and a Master's in Kinesiology: Sports Management and Administration (2007). He then attended Southwestern Illinois College where he earned his degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Brad is a longtime athlete competing in soccer through high school, and track and field throughout college at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville where he earned multiple all conference honors. He is very familiar with the demands of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and staying injury free in the process. It is his history as an athlete that makes him familiar with athletic injuries and the mentality of the injured athlete. Brad's favorite part of his career is the opportunity to treat a wide array of patients from ages 3 to 99 with diverse diagnoses.
Brad's background of a more exercise oriented approach combined with traditional manual therapy techniques helps achieve PhysioTherapy Professionals' goal of an integrated approach to physical therapy.
Laurie graduated from Washington University in St Louis, MO with a degree in physical therapy in 1987. Laurie's work experience includes geriatrics in the nursing home setting, home care and outpatient therapy. While taking 15 years off to stay at home and raise three children, Laurie maintained her ability to hold a license by attending various continuing education conferences in total joint replacement, geriatrics, shoulder and spine.
Originally from Jacksonville, Darrell has recently returned to Central Illinois from Louisville Kentucky after 14 years.
His undergraduate degree is a BA in Social Work from Bethany College, and he graduated from Iowa State University with his MS in Exercise Physiology.
Darrell's focus for the past two decades has been industrial rehabilitation; he most recently helped workers at a Toyota Camary plant. He has performed Functional Capacity Evaluations for many years and continues to do these at Physio.
As a former soccer player for MacMurray College, Darrell has excelled as a coach at the recreational, middle school and club levels, including a Louisville City Champion team and a girls' Kentucky State Champion team. He enjoys soccer, running and snow skiing.
